Atom Juke 2 Alloy Quad Derby Skate Wheels

Recommended for Roller Derby Use!
Designed exclusively for derby, this 59mm wheel is smaller to allow to be more agile and take quicker turns. New, improved compound.

Sold in 4-packs. It is common to mix and match wheels and have the softer wheels as "pushers" on the left of both skates. For example, you could order a 4-pack of yellow hubs for the left and a 4-pack of purple hubs for the rights for the best balance of grip and speed.

putting bearings in is really hard!!!
Dessarae Lenz (buffalo NY) 2/26/2011 7:36 PM
I have not skated on these yet... but just spent an hour and a half putting bearings in! Make you have a bearing press handy for these. As for performance I am sure they will be amazing... I hope they were worth the long time getting bearings in! Notorious V.A.G. QCRG

GREAT derby wheels!
derbysk8r (Pittsburgh) 2/1/2011 11:03 PM
I had recently switched to 59mm "short" wheels and noticed an improvement in my pickup when I skated but still suffered the dreaded wheel lock, so when I saw the Juke 2.0 alloys, I gave them a shot. The difference in agility is pretty astonishing! I'm never going back to tall/wide wheels. It only took a couple public sessions to break in my 95As (I was sliding all over the turns while doing so!) and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get 4-packs of the 93s and 88s for away games so I can always rock the jukes. The new wheel-lock system is supposed to correct the problem with hubcaps popping out like some other Atom wheels had in the past. Only time will tell...
