Atom Poison Quad Derby Skate Wheels

Poison is Atom's new 'go-to' wheel for ANY surface. Never worry about sliding again! Atom noticed that many derby skaters use outdoor wheels which are normally narrow and WAY too sluggish. To answer your needs, they've created Poison.

Now you can have the best of all worlds: grip, roll AND amazing lateral push! Poison provides awesome grip without that 'sluggish marshmallow" feeling which allows for more roll. Featuring super sick graphics on a bright green core, Poison will blow your competitors off the derby track! Perfect for: Outdoor Tracks, Slick Sport Courts, Banked Tracks and Dirty Wood Floors. Price is for a full set of 8 wheels!

Posions + Lowboys = GREATNESS!

I watched a review on Youtube from Same parent company as lowprice by the way. They recommended to use the Poisons in combination with Lowboys for perfect grip and speed. Boy were they right! I had some Sure Gripe Twisters which were a little too slippery for my taste, but I still wanted speed. I bought 4 of these and 4 of the Lowboys and man...I've never been more sure footed on my skates. Holy crap! Thanks LPS! - Dtown
tons of grip

very soft and grippy. Almost unforgiving on a clean smooth surface. Infact I decided to make them outdoor wheels after 2 sessions indoors. Not a bad wheel, just too much grip for me. Keep in mind that I am 6'1" 250#.

I started with Sure-Grip Fugitive wheels, and these are amazing in comparison! Much grippier, and paired with the Bones Reds bearings I fly around the track!

These wheels are pretty great for derby! They're grippy without making you feel like you're stuck in the mud. BUT, I disagree with some of the other reviews that claim you won't sacrifice speed. Given it's faster than skating on 88As, they make skating significantly slower than most "firm" wheels I've had. Still worth it, because I have not slid or lost my balance ONCE since getting these! I may pair them with some of my old 95As on the rights and see what happens with my speed.

Paired the Poison's with Bones Swiss 6's and love love love them! I went from hand-me-down Revolvers to these. I was worried about the drop in hardness being an issue as I am over 200 lbs., but they feel great. If you need plenty of grip, but do not want to sacrifice too much speed to get it, I highly recommend these wheels.
