These wheels are pretty great for derby! They're grippy without making you feel like you're stuck in the mud. BUT, I disagree with some of the other reviews that claim you won't sacrifice speed. Given it's faster than skating on 88As, they make skating significantly slower than most "firm" wheels I've had. Still worth it, because I have not slid or lost my balance ONCE since getting these! I may pair them with some of my old 95As on the rights and see what happens with my speed.

Paired the Poison's with Bones Swiss 6's and love love love them! I went from hand-me-down Revolvers to these. I was worried about the drop in hardness being an issue as I am over 200 lbs., but they feel great. If you need plenty of grip, but do not want to sacrifice too much speed to get it, I highly recommend these wheels.

these are pretty awesome. I skate on a polished concrete floor that is slick as snot. These kept me from sliding out but didnt feel like skating on marshmallows in the straights. def. recommend for sport court/ any slick floor. suuuuuper grippy :)
