I've been skating on these wheels for over two years now on indoor sports tracks and roller rinks. I have years of experience with multiple types of indoor wheels. The Atom Stroker is a very grippy wheel that gives you a high level of confidence in any and every turn you make. This wheel is smooth & fast and I find it superior to any of the wheels I have in my skatebag. The Stroker's quality is that of all Atom wheels in my opinion. These wheels are for serious indoor Speed-Skating/Derby but also a great wheel to grow into if you are not yet comfortable with firm grippy wheels. These wheels will eventually turn a yellowish as they oxidize but I personally like that "established" look. I skate indoors 2x a week (4hrs Total) and I wash my wheels about once a month just by wiping them down with a warm damp cloth and they are holding up fine. I found there is a "break-in" period with these wheels and it was longer then most so I have chalked that up to them being as firm as they are. Not all wheels are created equal as the "price" dictates and the Atom Stroker has distinguished itself far from other wheels out there. They are worth the money. I know several other skaters who either skate on Stroker's or other Atom products and I have never heard of hubs coming off. If that did in fact happen, these wheels were not intended for that type of use and why would someone take $100.00 outside. Judging from his other reviews, I have a hard time believing that to be true. These wheels just dont slide.

I HAVE THE OLDER VERSION OF THESE WHEELS I HAVE THE ONES WITH NYLON HUB BUT MY HUB DID POP OUT I SKATED OUTSIDE ON MY STROKERS TWICE ON A TENNIS COURT AND ON A REAL SMOOTH STREET

i give these wheels a 5 * cuz there great i just stared useing them last friday there great and worth alot of money but i got them from a good friend at first they were slippery but i got used to them fast and i heard about the hubs popoing out but i think thats false but its what ever o the time i almost was going backwards lol but these are good for shuffleing too i skate every friday and sat i love shuffle skateing

i really love my strokers but my hubs did not pop out lol but i used to have radar wheels then swithed to the strokers they were slippery at frist but i love them !!!!!!!!!!!! and best for shuffe skating too i go every fri day and sat and in summer every day lol
