I didn't want to spend money on a bearing press, and I didn't want something that took up a lot of room. This seemed like a really good idea, but it's not been as useful as I'd hoped. It has *sharp* edges and is very light -- crudely milled aluminum rods stuck together. When pulling the inner bearing out, I have to use the handle of a knife to give it the proper leverage height. When pulling the outer bearing out, the fulcrum leaves a mark on my fo-mac wheels. I have to use a metal knife edge to protect it. Although, it's fastest to pull either the inner or outer one out and then use the handle-end of this tool to *push* the other one out. Unfortunately, no other tool (except a bearing press obviously) can do what this tool does I think. But a bearing press might be a better way to go IMHO.
