I have been skating derby for 4 years now. When I started everyone told me boxers sucked & I wouldn't get better until I upgraded to more expensive skates. So in my 2nd year I payed $340 for some highly recommend skates & wore them 4 times! Hated them so bad, I sold them for $300 got 2 pairs of boxers & some bad A** wheels & had my best year yet. I am not a beginner skater, I made the starting line in boxers & will never wear anything else. I usually do have to buy a new pair every year or so, but at $99 bucks why not enjoy that new skate smell!

These were fabulous at first but as I became a more serious skater they no longer worked for me. The padding wore down and they were loose and eventually the outsole and boot separated on the outer edge of the right skate and the inner edge of the left was following. They lasted me 6 months of skating 1-4 times a week. Usually twice.

I had these skates for a couple months now.They are good but not great.One bad thing about them is that they are a little slippery around the turns.Then one day when i was skating when i went to slide the the trucks twisted so they were up and down not side to side.Over all good skates for starters.

The bearings in these skates are not good the wheels wobbled the first time i wore them. The boot is comfortable but if your using them for derby you need better bearings. I would spend a little more and get better skates.

these skate ive owned for a few years now and let me tell you these skates are great most comfortable skates ive owned they have lasted me and are very fast skates with the stock components i would recommend these to just about any one my wife also bought a pair and she is in the silicon valley roller derby girls and she kicks ass in these
