I bought a pair of these several years ago when I returned to quad skating. The ankle padding is definately more improved than earlier Carrera models. These are super comfortable! Great for beginners or recreational skaters. They seem pretty popular for derby, and the price is right.

4 mounts a have been looking for new stuff for my skates the skates i have are about 13 years old.(omg)i got them as a gift i love them very much and i have been looking 4 the same types of wheels and stopers to put on my olds kates but lucky me i found the same type of skates i have now but newer and improved i may just be buying a new pair soon,instend of paying 4 new stopers and wheels yay

the boots are amazing... comfortable and soft i only needed an extra set of wheels for outdoor!!! but the skate is perfect!!! the plates are pretty hard and i'm heavy! everything is great i'm a rookie, so i think this skates are perfect for someone that is starting! i'm in love!

If you are unsure if you are going to be doing derby for awhile, or you just want a good starter skate, this is it. I have upgraded to reds on the bearings, and the wheels I change all the time, depending on what I use them for. I now only use these for my outdoor wheels, and love them for that. I would strongly advise buying a ridell if you plan on sticking this one out and playing long term, because nothing compares to a ridell boot. I'm glad I have these as my outdoor wheels, but my other skates would have to burn to a crisp for me to go back to skating indoors with these!!!

this skates are sooooo fast a fell on a turn lol slill hurt :-)
