Decent Skates...

I've had these skates for six going on seven months, and so far what I've noticed is that the toe-stops, SUCK. They slip and slide all over the waxed floor of my local skate-inn. I'm not very careful with them, but I don't throw them around. Another thing I noticed that was a big issue was that one of the eyelits (The little metal circle around the hole that your laces go through) popped out and just about ripped to the point of having to buy a new pair of skates. I got them fixed and a little patch was sewn on to make sure it didn't rip, and it popped out again! I like the skates a lot though, they're troopers. There's VERY nice cushioning in the sole that eventually wears down, but they are still very comfortable. I enjoy skating in them and watching the other girls' faces as I zip by them during a race. Great for beginners, or middle-ranged skaters. Have fun & skate hard.(:

Unbelievably good skates for the money. Very comfortable and generally well-made. Upgrade the wheels if you want to outdoor skate, but these are really a fantastic skate for the price - I am an experienced skater and use these for outdoor skates and have no problems with them at all.
The sizes do run slightly small.

These Skates Are For Beginners Only

These skates are good beginners’ skates, but I find that I have to invest into new wheel bearings, and wheels. I am trying out for a roller derby team, and these skates are not ideal for this sport. It’s going to cost me an additional 40.00 in upgrades, so getting the Riedells would be ideal. If you are just looking for skates to get around the rink, and enjoyment then these are your skates, as long as you have an alternative to stopping.
