santa claus brought these for my 9 year old daughter as a and they have been in weekly use for about 3 months at the time of this writing. I am pleased with the quality, the seem to be quite well made, certainly a big jump from your standard rink rental. I have to say, the light up wheels are cool. She gets a lot of positive comments and attention from friends and others who also think they're cool. My daughter is still learning and thus not an aggressive skater, and so far the lights have held up skating on smooth rink floors. I would recommend these skates.
