A number of people at the skating ring I attend were skating with skates similarly looking to these. So I purchased a pair only to find out later that either they had Riedell Skates, which cost about 2 to 3 times more. Or these people were new comers like me. With Pacers Skates you get what you pay for. Myself and everyone else I know that bought these skates are not 100% happy with them from day one. 1st of all the bearing have some type of gel or grease in them which prevents you from having a smooth, easy, fast ride across the skating ring. The bearing come with a ‘C’ Clamp which is very difficult for me to remove when I try to clean my bearing so that I can remove the factory gal/grease. 2nd the boot itself is not comfortable, does not come in half sizes like high end boots. They are quite stiff, I still haven’t broken in mines yet after about a half year. The case is nice on the outside but cheap on the inside hints – no warrantee. If you have really strong legs and don’t mind giving them a good workout and you want to save some $$$.$$ these might be the skates for you they do look good inside and out. They have hook so you don’t have to lace them all the way up, most people like to style in them by leaving the Tung hanging out.

This is a great starter skate after starting skating after 21 years i purchase a pair of these skates i made an adjustment with keeping the same bearings and changing the wheels to power bones elite they are really good on the corners and in the straight a-way i recommend this skate for starters

I have dad these skates about 1.5 years and are exelent quality LEATHER and well worth the money Although I changed the wheels to the wider wheels also sold here at great prices these are great

Thank u for the person who reviewed these. I was hesitant on the hoot but they do look like the most comfortable. But if they hold up great with the weight limitation you stated I am sold. All thanks to that quote.....cheers

I PURCHASED THESE SKATES AND I LOVE THEM. THE BOOT IS LEATHER AND I ENJOY SKATING IN THEM. I WAS HESITANT AT FIRST BECAUSE THEY WERE LIGHT IN THE WEIGHT CATEGORY AND I AM A PLUS SIZE WOMEN. BUT, HAVE NO FEAR THEY HOLD UP REALLY GOOD IF YOU ARE OVER 200 LBS.
