These are good skates

I bought mine from a local pro shop. My only complaint is that the boot actually started seperating from the sole. I took them back and they replaced them so it was no problem. I'm a rookie derby girl and these have no break in time. They are super comfortable. I upgraded my wheels to Hyper Shamans and some Bones Swiss Super Six bearings.. The nylon plates are pretty durable - For starting out they are very affordable, comfortable and fairly durable. It's like skating with comfy running shoes.

I don't have the wheels or bearings. The skate is good. I have radar speed ray and bones reds bearings. its a great skate.

I bought my GT50's February 16, 2010 and started skating that day, the boot is VERY comforable have had no issues with blisters or anything. The wheels, bearings and underside of the skate are what you get with a $100 skate, cheap but work... The wheel actually has held up very well.
I skate 3 days a week in practice and usually 1 extra open skate a week or more. So I am heavily using my skates.
One of the shoelace rivits broke thru the material of the boot and after closer inspection, all the rivits are no longer roung and starting to tear the boot.
Not a durable boot at all, get something of better quality if your planning any amount of time on them.

I was going to buy the R3 or the diablo but the skate stores nearby we all out of size 6. I tried them all on and they were nice but these, these are amazing. The boot is sooo comfortable. I dont know what kind of wheels they use on these ones (I have special editions pattisons wheels) but they had major grip.
The whole boot is wicked sturdy too.
My only complaint is that they are vynil. Itd be good for beginner derby

THese skates are very good. I was a little disapointed when I saw that they had black laces instead of black and white laces but otherwise these are some of the best skates I've ever had.
