Ok, these look awesome, as for durability i'm having issues with the inner split holder. I have had these for a month or so and have managed to get a hole in the upper splint area. As far as protection, they are great I've taken a lot of falls on these If you have real stubby fingers they may not be good for you. I could barely get these bad boys on my hands when i first used them, after a few practices they are amazing and hug my wrists. 4 stars only because of the "stitching/splint hold" area being weak.

These came with my Gold Rookie Package, and I have been impressed. They are very comfortable. The only downfall is that they can get a little slippery if you sweat alot, and when I washed them, some of the stitching came loose.
