this is a very good plate. If you are beginner you will want to try this plate. The width helps alot with balance and the 45 degrees helps with turning. I am a beginner and it has helped me with both. The only bad thing is the weight. But dont let that scare you it does get better with time and dont ever wory about this plate breaking cant imagine what you would need to that. Recommend for beginners like me.

I absolutely love these trucks! I used to skate on SheDevils by Riedell. Those were my first skates. I had trouble moving side to side and just figured it was because I was a new skater and needed to work on my movement. I upgraded to Vanilla Brass Knuckle boots with the SureGrip dbl action 45 truck and OMG, it's like skating on butter. I can move side to side with no effort at all. For derby, this is so important when wanting to stay in front of your opponent to positional block and to also cut in for a sneak attack. I will buy these over and over again, but I don't think i'll actually need to. They look like they will hold up forever!
