i had 2 king pins break within a year...the plate itself is great but for speed skating there's just too much flex in the corners.

I've had these plates for five years now. I got them from my dad who has used them for nearly 30 years. They're practically indestructable.I've never broken a kingpin or a truck and all the parts are original. The action is very precise for a nylon plate ad the turning radius is superb; your wheels never leave the ground.
I highly recommend this plate to any speed enthusiasts or jammers. This is a plate that will last you your life.
