These are actually a very good plate for their price. They look really good on your skates with the highly polished aluminum, but they're heavy. Without weighing either, but having skated on both, I would say that they are 2-4oz heavier than Sunlight II. Having said this, they are very sturdy with no flex on the plate itself. This is in stark contrast the the trucks, though. I like a stiffer truck and even after tightening the kingpin down all the way, they still flex more than my liking. This is a matter of personal taste, and you may actually like how flexible the trucks are. I think if they had stiffer trucks, I'd probably have given them a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend this plate to anyone looking for a good aluminum plate at bargain price.

I have this plate on my Riedel 595 boot right now. Its a bit heavy, but reliable. It has good flex and is a very strong plate. Ive got a Laser plate waiting for mounting hardware to put on, cant wait for the weight difference!
