I had to replace my old dependable skates after the flood in New Orleans and purchased new skates with the Powerdyne Reactor. I can say that this plate is extremely responsive so much more than my old skates were. It's like if you think a move you are doing it immediately. The king pin angle is set for maximum strength and endurance. If you add this to the 8mm axles you have one very durable and high performing skate. I highly recommend the Powerdyne Reactor.

set up- riedell 195 boot, powerdyne reactor plates, atom fusion wheels, bones swiss bearings.
amazing amazing set up.
195's are super comfortable, contrary to other things ive read they broke in quickly, just awesome
reactors are super responsive, lighter than prolines, easy to dial in, again just awesome
fusions are fast, grippy, everything i wanted in a wheel
and bones swiss are smooth and fast
I LOVE MY SET UP... ALL OF IT. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

I am a lifelong skater and these skates are everything I could ask for. Who knew that in the 12 years I took off from skating (bad move) the equipment would get so much better. I still like the Laser plate I had back in the late 70's (the plates that had to be soaked) and the Black Diamond plates, but these are sooooo much better. watch the clearance between the toe stop and wheels if you like to skate with lose trucks - other than that, these are one of the best.

I was just curious about the weight of this plate. I used to skate the dynapro, which is quite heavy. so i was wundering how heavy this one was. & is it good for jamskating & crazy leg like manuvers?
