So, protec pretty much rules my world. These will def not break... i actually have worn down the leather coating on the guards and have a hole in one of the "holders" of metal wrist saving apperati. Still works like a dream, still hasnt popped out. Only problem is small is big on my wrists... i guess my wrists are to blame. but a little velcro anfd sewing machine fixed my problems.

Great for derby! Won't snap and can take a lot of weight.
