Riedell 395 One Piece Boots

Best boot I ever skated in it is amazing.

These boots are amazing...I bought them when I was about 15, and am 32 now....They are a little beat up because I skated on them for so many years, but they are still comfortable and the best boots out there in my opinion.

I purchased these boots 11 years ago and have skated on them on a regular basis ever since. I am a jam skater and now play derby in them as well and let me tell you, with standard upkeep and care, they will last forever. They are timeless and classic and will look great and feel amazing for years and years!! Well worth the money! You get what you pay for, for sure!! I had these when I skated full time 15 years ago and loved them.....But I now own the 495's and the pading and comfort is unbelivable,aposed to the 395 that does not have as much pading. I would never own another brand of boot I would recomend the 395,495,595,and also the 695 just depend on what style and comfort you are looking for.....

i got the 395 when i was a teenager. I want to say 13 or 14 years old. I'm 31 now and i still have them and they are still my favorite. I have abused them and sadly neglected them. I use them at the rink for a while and then as outdoor skates for a long time and at one point the sat in my dads garage for years and years. They looked to be in terrible condition. I got some polish, new laces, and some new shoe inserts at walgreens and they are still comfortable and work fine. I went skating on them last night. New bushings and a set of outdoor wheels are next. Think I'll get a set of speed skating wheels with new bearings too and try the rink again for the first time in years. This is a great boot.

I BOUGHT THESE EXACT BOOTS ALREADY SET UP AS SKATES UNDER THEIR SUPER DUPER DISCOUNT SECTION AT A FANTASTIC PRICE FOR MY 15 YEAR OLD SON, AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM. HE SAID THERE IS A SPECIAL WAY TO TIE THESE BOOTS SO THEY FIT LIKE A DREAM, SOMEONE ON HIS JAM SKATING TEAM SHOWED HIM, AND HE HAS NOT HAD ANY BLISTERS, RUBBING ETC., AND HE HAD THEM BROKE IN, IN ONE SKATING SESSION. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOT TO ANYONE WHO JAM SKATES, AND WANTS TO LOOK GOOD WHILE DOING IT, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

if you mean padding around the ankle area, there is no padding and since you're upgrading from LS-2 you will probly feel alot of rubbing when you first skate in it. I had to wear high-rise socks when I got mine. And it also has stiffiners on the sides of the boot that cud almost bring you to tears(unless you have thick socks) , but once it breaks in it feels great. I highly recommend this boot 4 speed & jaming.

I just wanted to know how much padding is in these, if they are really wide, and if they scuff up really easy. I have Lynx LS-2s and they have a goos amount of padding, are hard to scuff up, and are pretty slim.

This boot is the BEST boot Riedell ever made. When they stopped production of this boot a few years back, it made alot of people very upset! There's no reason to be skeptical over this boot, the tongue actually stays strapped unlike the other boots Riedell tried to push!

really great boots. i was originally wanting a boot with a two piece pullover flap like the 911 jammer, vanilla freestyle or 395 world class modle at first.And was a little skeptical of the front flap design at 1st. but after trying it out i am quite happy with this boot. 395 OLD SCHOOL!! BABY!
