Got these and a set of Bones Reds bearings a few months ago cause I was looking for a decent outdoor wheel for practicing in the park/skating round the neighborhood without spending a lot of cash. I'm very pleased. Every time I take them out, I'm taken aback by how smooth they are. I can even skate on coarse asphalt without much trouble. On nice concrete or a finished blacktop, they are great! Here in PHX, gravel and small rocks are EVERYWHERE, and skating outdoors can be a big pain. These wheels do a nice job of kicking most of it out and away from me. They look nice on my artistic boots, and seem to be holding up very well after about 8 hours worth of outdoor skating with plenty of hitting/rolling over small rocks. Took them to the rink the other week, and while they aren't nearly as fast as the vanathane wheels I'm used to indoors, they are super smooth, have a great grip, handle turns well, and provide an all around great, comfortable roll. If you're looking for one set of wheels that can easily handle both outdoor and indoor skating, these are a great choice. Highly recommended!!

since the 95A Demon Wheels were too slippery for me I use my Energy wheels indoors as well. they work really great. If you are an inside ref you don't need two sets of wheels with these...

These are great wheels,smooth skating on any surface.They perform really well outdoors and inside at the roller rink.Good all around wheels at a great price.I highly recommend them for anyone,all ages.
