I bought these wheels in red, because they were recommended from a friend. I paired them with Bones Swiss bearings and loved them! They go really fast, I skated my whole season with them no complaints. I need a new set of wheels this season, and am nervous to get anything else because I loved the way these performed!

I've been skating on these wheels for about 2 years, and they were used when I got them. I bought them already attached to the Vanilla Bean set-up. I tried to NOT like these wheels... but I couldn't do it. They are amazing. The grooves have worn off, so they are soft (93A). They grip fantastic, even on slick, worn wood flooring. I'm a big guy, and normally avoid soft wheels, but these actually roll nice to be so soft. The next softest wheels I own are Matter Fusions (before they changed their company name a couple times) those are 97A. As far as some of the claims of "chunking" the wheels... all I can say is, we have wannabes around our area who can chunk ANY wheel, no matter who makes it, and they always blame the wheel instead of themselves. And a select few can bend an aluminum hub and then claim the wheels were "warped" when they got them. And want a full refund, of course.

I have a set of the red ones and these wheels perform very well. They are extremely smooth!!!! At first they were too sticky, but after a few weekends they have the perfect grip.

Myself and another Floor Guard have used these wheels (RED- Grip and the Blue) for less than a year . We had wheel damage as discribed in other post. These wheels have great grip on wood floors and were fine until they disitigrated under normal use . ( normal - no jumps or break dance slams -- just footwork dand dance moves) I will be contacting the company soon also. An alternative - Hyper Cannables . Aluminum Hub that extends closer to the wheel edge - better design !

I purchased these wheels stock on my skates. at first they were simply amazing!I'm a jamsk8er at my local rink. but to my surprise I was out in the middle of the floor jamming about 2 months later when I felt a bump.I looked down on my skate and on the rear right wheel of my right skate a huge chunk was missing! I tryed to keep skating but I kept feeling a bump every time my wheel spun. so I became so annoyed that I just went ahead and bought a pair of atom strokers. they're a little bit harder than my sspeed rays and show a little more promise.
