A pretty decent wheel

I've been rolling on these wheels (57mm) since they came out some years back, courtesy of my man Luther at low price skates. The type of roll you get from this wheel is dependent on the type of floor you skate on. It will typically slide with a good amount of freedom on unfinshed wood surfaces (i.e. Golden Glide, Cascade, Skate Zone, Skate King, St. Nick's & Glennwood). It will grip like a 97A or less on coated floors like (All American, Sparkles, Coachlite, & The Rink). On an unfinished floor, it slides more than Bones Elite, but less than All-Americans or Fomacs. The metal hub helps to reduce the weight of the wheel while maintaining stability. The wheels have stood up to my constant abuse, so they are worth the money. This is a good wheel for most skaters at any skill level.

Good Appearance / Bearing install Difficult / Tight Floor Grip

Bearings are difficult to install into Metal Hubs, if they have any slight bends / dents / deformations on them. The Hubs do give the wheels a nice look though. Wheels are tacky on wood floors, and will not allow any give for sliding moves unless you ride/slide on the very edge of them. It took less effort to obtain faster speeds compared to my FAME wheels when cruising. Today's skating moves (2009) requires more and more slide style moves, so I will putting these on the shelf for the every-so-hard All American Plus Wheels I just ordered.
