Sub-par, Epic Fail...These are the UGO of roller skates skates should be discontinued. These are not appropriate for Roller derby, do not let the brand name fool you. I would not recommend them to recreational skaters either. If you want a set of good starter skates, save your money for R3s or Boxers which are start at $50 more. You get less than what you pay for; you will find yourself wanting to upgrade the wheels and bearings right away. Also, fixed hard plastic toe stops are not functional and get scraped up fast! The vinyl boots comfort is medicore at best but, soon they wrinkle, paint will chip, they will crumble, become bald and decay like a rotting corpse before your very eyes. As far as safety, I knocked an axel out on a fall and had to hold the boot to the base with duck tape as the ahesive began to peel off. The life span is 6 months to one year. If you are an aspiring roller derby player or speed skater these are not the vechiles to take you very far on the track.

ok,so i read the reviews and thought that they might be a little unfair saying that the skates were for beginners,so i looked it up on the internet and it got four and a half stars on amazon,so i desided to get myself a pair.i absoluely love these skates!i do some pretty complex moves,and these totally do the trick,way better than rentals,however the sizes are wacky for this skate,so i would reccomend actually going to a store and buying them there.another thing is is that they are 49 dollars here,but at academy the store,they are only 39 dollars.so all together i think they are awesome.

Received this morning via FEDEX 3 days ahead of schedule, sent a photo to my wife to show the kids, they began running around the house like they'd scored a goal in soccer...funny stuff. On first inspection the skates look great, and should suit my 10 and 11 year olds down to the ground. I will return for a working review soon. LOW PRICE SKATES .... you ROCK.
