I bought these following knee surgery so I wouldn't be tempted to start jumping again too soon. I had my doubts as I have worn high-end Riedell boots. These are really nice! They are surprisingly supportive and very comfortable. The lining extends over the back top, so it keeps the bite away. These are great for someone just starting to skate, or just casual, recreational skating. The synthetic soles are actually nice because you don't have to mess around with waterproofing. My only complaint is that the wide width doesn't seem all that wide. I would also recommend going with the MK or Wilson blade option, especially if you are used to nicer blades. The Sapphire blade is functional, but cheap. Overall, I would recommend this package. Do yourself a favor and buy it here! The service is excellent!
