last time i skated was in the 80s and now i purchased a pair of these quad skates. my shoe size is 10 and so i ordered a 10, which was a bit tight at the beginning, but now after a few sessions its perfect. as i skate only outdoors the cayman wheels had to be exchanged (too hard). now i use kryptos 78A and i love the package good deal! i would give the recommendation to buy. rgds

These skates are great. The first time out I skated for 4 hours, almost non-stop, and no blisters. Buy the utilitool, because out of ther box, the bushings are so tight, the skates won't turn. After about 10 minutes, I had them adjusted perfectly. The wheels are kind of slick at first, but as they wear in, become very grippy. I skate on a wooden floor. These skates were everything I expected, and a great bang-for-the-buck.

I can power slide like a son of a gun

These are great skates, I never used the stock bearings however. I just took them out and put in some bonez redz. The boot is amazing and adjusts to my wide feet well with the laces loose just a bit. Riedell quality for sure.

as a fresh meat derby girl, these skates are alright! the boot will form to your foot after a few practices and will be extremely comfortable. i like the additional heel support because i have one foot that's a little smaller than the other--so the extra support keeps both feet tightly in the boot. however, i really miss having a velcro strap to keep my laces in check! this is the one fatal flaw of the skates i'm afraid.
