These are by far the best skates I have ever used. I love everything about them. We have been doing a lot of fall drills and while grinding them on the floor does mess up the boot (it would mess up any boot), after I put in my toe guards, it took care of the problem.

I have the old blue version of this skate. I have been skating on them for 3 1/2 years. They have taken some serious abuse and still come back for more. It did take several months to really break them in well, but once they were they became very comfortable. The leather on the inside is splitting and needs a cobbler to fix it. The kingpins had to be replaced recently but I would say this has been an all around good workhorse skate for an intermediate to advanced skater.
