Performance meets customization in the Siren skate.

Our Model 1065 boot features the performance of our integrated Heel Lock System (HLS) and our exclusive Chinook full-grain leather lining and is now also customizable in your combination of our colored exterior materials from Riedell ColorLab at no extra charge.

PowerDyne Reactor Pro plates made from extruded aircraft grade aluminum are matched with the 1065 along with lightweight Radar Presto wheels that offer outstanding roll (speed) and grip. New to the Siren are the natural rubber PowerDyne Moonwalker toe stops that have excellent grip, reliable control and agility, and are non-marking on all surfaces so you can use them anywhere. Great Boot
Vanity Scare (NEO) 9/27/2009 1:33 PM
I ordered the 1065s and have had them for about a month now. I switched from the 695's which I HATED (lol) and have them on Reactor plates. I am loving these skates. They are providing the perfect amount of support for me. I find that the arch counter is supportive yet flexible enough to give around those tight left turns, which is a big improvement in my opinion. The HLS is excellent as well, I took some adjusting to them however. I like the wide toe box and narrow heel. They are wonderfully light. I did have Rich pop out the heel counter on the inside of the left boot, as it was cutting into my heel esp. during turns. I do have two suggestions for improvement on the skate. The 1st is that the lace cover go higher up the skate to protect the laces all the way up and that the lace cover protects the HLS system as well. I have broken several laces right at the HLS loops already, which makes for an annoying time at practice and is a danger during bouts. Also, I would like to see an eyelet farther back on the boot above the HLS, as the HLS does cause some gaping around the ankle.
