i got these to try when the R3's were out of stock. they are pretty comfortable, i love the padded tongue and the elastic parts that keep the tongue in place. the leather on the toe is nice too, though i have toeguards anyway. what i don't care for is the collar of the boot, i feel that it is a little high for derby, when i am cornering i feel like it digs into my ankle too much. but it could be personal preference. i didn't care for the wheels that came with it either. i've had these skates over a year now and they are holding up great, i wear them pretty reliably twice a week both indoor and outdoor.
