Sure-Grip Avenger White Quad Skate Plates

Sure-Grip has combined science and art and named it the Avenger. With its computer aided design, the Avenger contains exact specifications for wall thickness, height, length, angles and material to make this plate strong and light weight for speed and derby skating. Some of the design elements that make this plate unique are the hollow kingpin and hollow center, both making the Avenger as light as possible. Also featured is a shortened front end, for those who want to get aggressive with their short forward mounts, giving plenty of room so the plate will not hang over the front of your boot.

Love Them
Mike (Haltom City) 1/23/2013 2:24 PM
Started with the Riedell Vandals and had these mounted up after doing some research. I don't derby or race but wanted something that could do a U-turn in a shoe box. They delivered. These are a big departure from the the standard 10 degree kingpins that I have been rolling on so they have taken some getting used to. You are giving up some stability for the ability to cut hard. Take your time setting them up/adjusting them. I will probably never look back.

Great Plate
SessionSk8r (NorCal) 2/2/2012 7:08 PM
Nice light inexpensive plate for session or derby skating. A super value considering weight and turning performance. Turns better than anything I know of. Inexpensive cushion options to tune the plate to your liking. Harder cushions for speed work, or softer cushions for crazy tight turning. You can still turn more with the harder red cushions than you can with a normal plate. The Delrin pivot cup is what Roll Line uses. Should last the life of the plate with no issues unlike some other plates that have pivot cup problems. Adjusting the pivot pin can be a chore if you are unfamiliar, but there are instructions on how to do this on the net. Very precise turning feel. A lot of fun. Once you get used to the turning response, it feels like it wired to your brain. Think, turn, done.
