Artistic/speed skater. I bought these plates about a month ago and I love them. Since I have a completely new set-up, they will need time to break in but I can already tell a difference as opposed to my old skates. They are extremely light, durable, smooth and they will do what you want them to do instead of the plate telling you what you can't do. I also use the Riedell 122 boot and the original blue pacers for my wheels. This was worth every penny. Mines came with the white trucks and purple soft cushions.

Good speed plates with one problem---plastic trucks--the axles pulled out of mine twice. I went to the aluminum truck and problem solved!

This is a great plate especially with the new aluminum trucks and now you can even get them with flip axles which I'm hoping to get soon. I'm not sure why they previous reviewer says you can't use Hyper Shaman wheels with this plate because that is incorrect. I currently use both the white and pink shamans without a problem. I will say they do come very close to hitting the truck but you should have room on the axle to use a washer as a spacer if needed.

The new POWERTRAC plates have aluminum white trucks so you do not need to woory about messing up or striping out the axles anymore. The adjustments on the trucks are very easy to adjust. You cannot use Hyper Shaman wheels with these plates because the wheels hit the kingpin. Any wheel that is wide like the Shaman will not fit this plate. I used the Radar Zodiac Black Sticky wheels and they worked just as good as the Shamam wheels maybe better. Great plates!
