After nearly 40 years, these plates are still my plate of choice and for good reason. Quality coupled with price. Back in the 70's these were made with a 10° single action truck. Nowadays, you can get them with a 45° double action truck that will turn on a dime. Perfect for derby as the provide the ability to cut quickly and the stability to take a beating. While not as light as a Powerdyne Reactor, they're plenty light enough to get the job done.

Won a ton of races as a kid with these plates. I'm still using the same pair since 1981. Yea Yea, but the old guy still can rock these plates. finally ordering replacements.

The plates run pretty fantastically huge, so I'd recommend lying about your shoe size or talking sizes with the place directly. Otherwise, I am head-over-heels for these plates. Got them for derby, and skating four on the floor became like a thousand times easier, not to mention the quick response. They're sexy as hell

I have these on my skates which are 15+ years old. No rust and still shines! Now that I am older I think I should go with a lighter frame.
