 Toesavers!
Toesavers! Toe Guards for Roller Derby

Great for ROLLER DERBY!
Revolutionary new design featuring SUPER TOUGH high resolution vinyl with nearly unbreakable buckle.
The material is soft, not stiff, and you just put your toe stop through the hole on the bottom and
wrap the top strap around the laces. Will not move side-to-side like conventional
toe guards and will not wear away like leather will do.

Toesavers Instructions
1. Remove toe stop, slip toe cap over skate to measure which lace to loop strap under.
2. Hold toe cap over the skate and loop strap under the lace and snap.
3. Put toe cap on the skate and install toe stop with the jam nut over the toe cap. (unless toe stop is flush with the plate, or a toe plug is used)
Toesavers Heat Molding Instructions
1. Bake in oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius) for 5 Minutes. Be sure to preheat your oven.
2. Wearing gloves (or an oven mitt) place on your skate and hold for 3 minutes.
Note: If ordered with other products, this may ship seperately via US Mail.

These have lasted me more than a year and would probably last me longer if I didn't tend to use them as a drag stopper. The only problem I had is that the button smarts if you end up smacking the top of your toes in a fall. I compensated by sticking bunion/corn toe pads under the snap--and learning how to fall with better form.

I am currently using the Riedell leather toe savers- the poor design uses the laces to hold down the toesaver, on first use my laces have shredded. I have heard great reviews on this toe saver and wish I had gone for this style instead.

I ordered these because I'm pretty hard on my skates. I wore them for two practices and one bout. On the foot I tend to drag more, I wore a hole in them. On the other foot, the grommet that attaches to the toe guard that holds it onto your skates laces pulled/ripped right out of the leather.
I had to punch two holes in the leather and lace them like the standard toe guards to be able to keep using them. Not much longer after I did that, did I wear a hole into that one too.
Fantastic and practicle concept, however the final product didn't hold up.
