Great protection without the bulk!

I had a pair of 187s I was using but for whatever reason I found crossovers impossible when wearing these because the caps stick out so much and sometimes I'd even trip myself with my feet crossed. I had gone back to using an older pair of Triple 8s because I couldn't stand it anymore and then I discovered these! Absolutely awesome! Double knee falls are no big deal at all and so far I've found the caps and elastic to be extremely sturdy and the pad overall to be very comfortable. I also like how they slide....:-)

I upgraded to these pads from cheap very basic triple 8 "kiddie" pads. I loved them, great support, not too bulky. But after about 4 months of skating (and falling on them), one of the caps cracked and split from the side. I am a large girl, so perhaps these will be better suited for smaller skaters.
