The Vanilla Brass Knuckle 2.0 boots are the perfect boot for medium meat and veteran derby skates. Featuring a reinforced backstay, built-in toe guard, custom overlay, elastic tongue straps, and a mean look, these skates will keep you rolling strong, bout after bout – practice after practice.
These boots feature the B/D TrueFit last – a B-width in the heel to keep you locked in, and a D-width in the toe to give your toes some room to breathe.

Great value, but might be 1 size smaller

I ordered a size "Ladies 9 / Mens 8" and I'm pretty sure I was sent a Ladies 8. I think the number on the bottom of the boot corresponds to the ladies size for this boot. Also it is a narrower than normal width I think.
If you have wider than normal feet (like me), think twice before buying this. You might have to order a custom... well Vanilla doesn't do this boot in custom width or half-sizes, so go with Riedell instead -- they provide wide sizes for those willing to pay extra.

I love these boots! They are so cozy and hug my feet just right! My skates feel like and extension of my feet. These are the best derby boots ever!
