I got the Vanilla Express/Sunlite/Hugger setup and I do have to say that I would love it to death if not for these boots! These are ankle biters. Even using the 'beer koozie' trick, they still eat ankles. I have been skating with these boots for 2 months, twice a week, and they still kill. 4 other women on my derby team also tried them out and they all took them off very quickly because of the ankle issue. Too bad really, I really wanted to love this boot! Also the leather scuffing up easily? Yes, it is true! I should have either gone with the cheapo pacer 429 like the rest of the girls or gone with riedell. I'm now saving up to replace them.

Although they're not as good as the Freestyle or Curve boots these are the best alternative, they last forever even though they take like 3 weeks to break in. I've had mine for 1 year now =]
