if you are looking for an inexpensive skate that works great on you this is by far the best pick for you. unbeatable for the price, very compatible and fast. heat molds after 2 or 3 tries and i have had no problems with mine although you get the occasional blisters but thats normal when breaking into skates. i suggest blister pads or duct tape around your ankles in the breaking in process to narrow the intensity of blisters enjoy! :)

on the plus side, inexpensive, fast, moldable with some effort, look good.
negative, takes a couple tries to mold, lack of attention to detail on finishing touches.
ok so number one who is the idiot who reviewed the skate before they were received. wheels seem to be wearing well, the bearings are good and the combo will roll forever. i had to mold the skates 4 times per skate to get them to fit, don't bother with ten minutes go straight to twenty but check on them in case your oven runs hot. after i got them molded correctly the fit is relatively comfortable. make sure you tighten the frame properly after heat molding, i didn't, the frame slid around on me and it destroyed my ankles, i couldn't skate for two weeks, but that was my fault not that of the skates. if you skate with poor form they will tear up you ankles so if you are starting out speed skating quit when your ankles start to wobble or you will get blisters, i recommend duct taping your ankles until they get strong enough. they look pretty slick. if you look closely though the frame is machined by hand, swirl marks are evident in the black parts, also the frame has sharp edges, equivalent to a dull ice skate blades, the axles thread to different lengths, leaving some sticking out, (on mine the thread sticks out of the hole on the back two but not the front.) on the boot there is little double stitching (it is 2x stitched on the straps) and the white patch on the heel is not centered exactly on either skate (of mine don't expect all to be like this) does any of that make them slow? no. i really like my skates and am generally happy with them, do i wish i had just paid the extra 60 bucks and got the bont cheetahs instead? im not sure yet, these are a good and inexpensive way to start out, while the attention to detail is lacking they are 260 what do you expect? if they were 500 i would not be happy but if anyone else notices then just skate faster. passing poeple on bikes is awesome.
