I have worn these boots 4 times now (i'm a floor guard) and the break-in is going ok. The rear of the boot still manages to break the skin on the back of the heel but not nearly as bad as other skates I have had. The major problem is the gold trim on the front of the boot. It scuffs way too quickly. As a floor guard I am constantly kneeling down to pick up something and the front of the boot has gotten scuffed up already. There should be a touch up paint available or the design with the gold trim needs modification

im getting these for christmass i like vanillas but the dont last long there coding on the boot is week i skate for champz in louisville ky,were called the junior jamers and were a vanilla crew but ive had no proble with vanillas there dope cuzzzzzz

there ok but they dont last long own mine for a week and wear out quick. they break in so quick very nice
